Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) are placed in elementary schools, junior high, and senior schools. You will work alongside Japanese teachers to deliver high quality English language lessons to young learners.
Co-teach English classes using provided lesson plans and teaching materials.
Assist local teachers with language pronunciation and communicative activities.
Act as a cultural ambassador by introducing international customs and perspectives to students.
A completed Bachelor’s degree in any subject (this is a strict requirement for the Japanese working visa).
No strict requirement for TEFL/TESOL/CELTA but beneficial.
Native-level English proficiency. Applicants must have completed at least 12 years of their education in schools where English was the primary language of instruction.
A strong sense of professional adaptability, flexibility, and a genuine interest in integrating into a Japanese workplace and community.
A clean criminal background check and standard health clearance.
Applicants must hold a valid driver's license in their home country and be eligible to obtain an International Driving Permit (IDP) prior to departing for Japan.

Stable Schedule: Placements feature a reliable Monday-to-Friday schedule (generally daytime hours) with standard school holidays, providing excellent work-life balance.
Relocation & Visa Support: You will receive full visa sponsorship and processing assistance. Upon arrival, the local support team provides hands-on help securing an apartment, setting up utilities, and establishing a local bank account and phone contract.
Comprehensive Security: All teachers are fully enrolled in Japan's national health insurance, pension, and employment insurance systems.
Training & Development: Prior to departure, you will complete an extensive online pre-boarding course. Upon arrival, you receive practical classroom training, followed by ongoing professional development and lesson observation support from your local branch.
