Meridian ESL partners with Japan's largest private provider of Assistant Language Teachers to offer structured teaching placements in public schools across Japan. 

This program offers comprehensive relocation support, stable working hours, and professional development within the Japanese education system.

Stable Schedule: Placements feature a reliable Monday-to-Friday schedule (generally daytime hours) with standard school holidays, providing excellent work-life balance.

Relocation & Visa Support: You will receive full visa sponsorship and processing assistance. Upon arrival, the local support team provides hands-on help securing an apartment, setting up utilities, and establishing a local bank account and phone contract.

Comprehensive Security: All teachers are fully enrolled in Japan's national health insurance, pension, and employment insurance systems.

Training & Development: Prior to departure, you will complete an extensive online pre-boarding course. Upon arrival, you receive practical classroom training, followed by ongoing professional development and lesson observation support from your local branch.

Career Progression: Unlike many international teaching roles, this program offers a clear promotion track. Successful ALTs can advance to Head Teacher, Consulting Head Teacher, or transition into corporate management and training roles.
